Launch Blue Announces First Cohort
Launch Blue has chosen its first cohort. After a lengthy application and interview process, six Kentucky technology startups were selected to participate in the fall 2020 Pre-Seed Accelerator program. Starting on September 9th, founders will spend twelve-weeks focusing on learning and applying the lean startup method to their startups while working to develop a scalable, repeatable business model.
Candidates were vetted through a competitive application and interview process. The final selections for the cohort were determined by a selection committee that was appointed by the Launch Blue Advisory Board.
“We had a fantastic selection committee for this application round,” said Laura Halligan, Executive Director of Launch Blue. “They certainly had their work cut out for them trying to choose only six of the candidates for the program. We are very excited about the quality and diversity of our first cohort.”
The Pre-Seed Accelerator program offers two cohorts each year in the fall and spring.Launch Blue will begin taking applications for the upcoming spring 2021 cohort this fall.
