Launch Blue Announces Second Cohort
Launch Blue has chosen its second cohort. After a lengthy application and interview process, five Kentucky technology startups were selected to participate in the Spring 2021 Pre-Seed Accelerator program. Starting on February 17th, founders will spend twelve-weeks focusing on learning and applying the lean startup method to their startups while working to develop a scalable, repeatable business model.
Candidates were vetted through a competitive application and interview process. The final selections for the cohort were determined by a selection committee that was appointed by the Launch Blue Advisory Board.
“Our selection committee certainly had their work cut out for them trying to choose the final candidates for the program this round,” said Laura Halligan, Executive Director of Launch Blue. “We are very excited about the quality of the founders and startups in our spring cohort.”
The Pre-Seed Accelerator program offers two cohorts each year in the fall and spring. Launch Blue will begin taking applications for the upcoming Fall 2021 cohort this summer.
